Breakout rap act Macklemore and Ryan Lewis continue to celebrate their home base of Seattle with a star-studded music video for the single “White Walls,” taken from the duo’s million-selling full-length, The Heist.
After a campy, spaghetti western-tinged opening that finds the rapper dubbing himself “Mackle Jackson,” the fun and colorful clip is loaded with hip-hop cameos, boasting star turns from a cavalcade of rap luminaries, including Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Rocky, Big Boi of Outkast, DJ Drama and Trinidad James. L.A. rapper and Kendrick Lamar associate Schoolboy Q shows up to deliver his feature verse in the song, as well as share a blunt with a car full of bathing suit-clad older women before they all jump into a swimming pool.
Car enthusiasts will surely be excited for the slew of vintage Cadillacs throughout the clip, but it’s the Seattle love that runs thickest in the “White Walls” video.
